KABUL (Pajhwok): The Taliban have once again urged the international community to recognise Afghanistan’s interim government.
Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi issued the call during consultations on Afghanistan in Moscow on Wednesday.
A Russian media outlet quoted him as saying: "We call on the global fraternity to recognise the current government of Afghanistan.”
Hanafi added the Afghans, who had seen their first-ever inclusive government, hoped the world would cooperate with it.
