JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Torkham crossing closed temporally after a large number of people throng the crossing, according to local officials.
Thousands of people, majority of them without legal documents, rushed Torkham crossing on Friday that caused disorder and led to the closure of the gate, local officials said.
Efforts are on to enforce order and it is hoped that the crossing would be reopened.
A local official in Torkham crossing said the gate was opened until 10:00am on Friday morning but was closed for a short period due to rush.
The source said earlier Pakistan allowed children until 7 years of the age but now they are asking for visa and other documents for even 7-year old.
