KABUL (Pajhwok): A number of women gathered in front of the Cure Hospital in capital Kabul in protest against what they called growing poverty, poor economic situation and the closure of educational institutions for girls.
The women, numbering more than 20, said they wanted to raise their voice against economic issues, frozen assets of Afghanistan and closure of educational institutions, but security forces stopped them from demonstration.
Security forces previously also prevented protesters and demonstrations, especially women, and prevented its coverage by the media.
