JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Five people have been killed and 15 others injured in separate incidents of violence in Sherzad and Surkhrod districts of eastern Nangarhar province, local sources said on Saturday.
Two women were killed and 10 other individuals injured on Friday afternoon when unidentified gunmen opened fire at a wedding ceremony in Surkhrod district.
A resident of the area, wishing not to be named, told Pajhwok Afghan News the attackers managed to flee the scene.
