National football team to play with Indonesia in Turkey

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghan national football team will play against Indonesia in Antalya, Turkey, in the next two weeks, an official said on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the Afghanistan Football Federation, the Afghan national football team will play against Indonesia on November 16. The match will start on FIFA’s official date in Antalya, Turkey, the source said.

The statement said that the national team will start its training in Antalya on November 8 and will play with Indonesia on November 16.

According to the source, the training and the match will have a major impact on preparation of the national team for the finals of the Asian Cup qualification.

The Afghan Football Federation is committed to providing best players to the national football team to play in the Asia Cup qualifiers, the statement concluded.
