14 injured as cars collide in Faryab capital

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): At least 14 people were injured as a result of a traffic accident in the capital of northern Faryab province on Thursday, local sources said.

The accident in Maimana wounded 14 individuals, including women and children. Three of the injured are said to be in critical condition.

A security official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said two cars collided in the city, leaving at least 14 people wounded.

Dr. Ghulam Sakhi Halim, in charge of Maimana Civil Hospital, confirmed receiving 14 injured people, including children and women.

He said three of the wounded were in critical condition.
