Women can work by observing hijab: Kunduzi

AIBAK (Pajhwok): The governor of northern Samangan province says that women can work in organizations by observing hijab.

KhairKhwa Samangani, the governor’s spokesman, said that governor Maulvi Abdul Rahman Kunduzi had a meeting with a number of officials from donor agencies and organizations.

At the meeting, donor agencies officials shared their concerns with the governor about how to survey deserving and needy people and called for women’s participation in the survey.

Kunduzi allowed the officials of the institutions to employ women in relevant institutions.

KhairKhwa also said women can work with aid agencies and international organizations by observing Islamic hijab.
