KABUL (Pajhwok): Six-hundred alleged Daesh militants have been arrested and 33 others killed in the past three months, the Taliban Intelligence Directorate spokesperson said on Wednesday.
Addressing reporters on Daesh activities here, Khalil Hamraz said: “In the past 1,800 Daesh rebels held at different jails were released during the Taliban victory, these militants had the backing of different intelligence networks and this caused insurgent activities in some parts of the country.”
He said security personnel were fully capable of ensuring security of the masses and every part of the country was under security personnel watch.
