SHARAN (Pajhwok): The World Food Program (WFP) and Watan organization have provided assistance to 7,000 poor and needy families in southern Paktika province.
TheWFP distributed food to 4,000 families and Watan organization to 3,000 families.
Mualvi Khan Mohammad Ahmad, Paktika rural rehabilitation and development director, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the aid included flour, oil and other items which were distributed to needy families in Gomal, Naki, Gyan and Omna districts.
The provincial administration has launched efforts to help the needy families through foreign and domestic aid agencies in order to solve their problems to some extent . . .
