Judiciary to resume functioning soon, says Mujahid

KABUL (Pajhwok): The judicial and prosecution departments in capital Kabul will soon resume work and women employees would be recalled once a proper system for their safety and protection is introduced in offices, an official said on Monday.

Government Spokesperson ZabihullahMujahid said: “Before the capture of Kabul, our judicial system was active nationwide and the same system is functioning now as well, now work on the re-activation of judicial and prosecution offices is underway under the auspicious of Supreme Court.”

Referring to women employees in judicial system, he said: “Salaries of women employees will be paid in all government institutions including judicial departments.”

He added women workers would be recalled after a proper system is enforced in office to ensure their safety.
