JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Officials of the Nangarhar Chamber of Commerce and Industry say Afghanistan has exported for the first time 76 tonnes of steel to Pakistan.
Shakirullah Safi, head of the trade, investment and export department, told Pajhwok Afghan News the steel produced in the province and exported to the neighbouring country at the request of Pakistani companies.
He said the steel exports would continue as Pakistani firms were keen receiving more of it. The steel was produced by Tashkent and Javed Afghan factories.
