KABUL (Pajhwok): One civilian was killed and six others injured in a bomb blast that rocked the Dashti Barchi area of central capital Kabul late on Wednesday, the Ministry of Interior said.
A resident of the area, Daud, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the blast ripped through a vehicle at about 4pm.
MoI spokesman Qari Saeed Khosti said the blast hit a vehicle in Naqash area in the jurisdiction of 13th police district. He said one civilian was killed and six others injured in the blast. He said the injured included three women.
Meanwhile, two back to back blasts were heard in Dehbori area in the third security district of Kabul city at around 4:10pm.
Witnesses said the blasts followed gunfire. More details in this regard to follow soon.
