1 Islamic State fighter killed, several held in Kabul raid

KABUL (Pajhwok): Security forces have killed a Daesh (Islamic State) militant and captured several others during an operation in the Khair Khana area of Kabul.

Inamullah Samangani, deputy spokesman for the government, tweeted that an Islamic State hideout was destroyed during the raid in Sara-i-Shamali locality.

He said one member of the militant group was killed and several others were captured alive during the operation.
