KABUL (Pajhwok): Twenty-seven billon Afghani revenue collected in the past 78 days through a proper and unified system, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) said on Saturday.
Revenue Department Director Merajuddin Meraj told reports here that ministry has improved is working capacity comparing to the previous government and the revenue was being collected transparently through a proper system.
He said over the past 78 days, 26,915,000,000 afghanis was collected in revenue.
He said revenue collection was improving and it witnessed surged with each passing day. last Wednesday alone the ministry collected 557 million afgahnis.
