KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan’s ambassador to Afghanistan says a series of civilian flights from Islamabad to Mazar-i-Sharif, Kandahar and Herat will resume.
Mansoor Ahmad Khan said in this an interview with Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper. However, he did not say when the flights would resume.
He also said the Afghan government wanted to start flights to the Pakistan cities of Karachi, Quetta and Lahore.
Khan added the decision on flights from Kabul to Karachi, Quetta and Lahore would be made by the two sides.
The ambassador said only flights from Kabul to Islamabad were currently available.
