4 arrested in connection with robbery, drug trafficking

AIBAK (Pajhwok) At least four individuals have been arrested in connection with robbery and drug trafficking in northern Samangan province, an official said on Wednesday.

Maulvi Hamas, head of the military commission in Samangan, said the stolen property had also been handed over to its owner.

Over the last three months, he added, more than 40 people had been arrested for committing various crimes in the province and their cases had been referred to courts.
