SHARAN (Pajhwok): Ushr worth 50 million afghanis has been collected during the past three months in southeastern Paktika province, an official said on Wednesday.
Paktika Agriculture Director MaulviShakaib told Pajhwok Afghan News Ushr has been collected from solar penal owners, land owners and some other properties.
He said the amount has been handed over to provincial officials who would spend it in appropriate areas.
Assistant Paktika Governor MaulviMohibullahHamasi said by giving Ushr to authorities, the people of Paktika reposed their trust in government again.
He said the amount would be given to some government institutions and to some provincial development . . .
