GARDEZ (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says it has seized a cache of weapons and ammunition in southeastern Paktia province. The arms were being smuggled to Pakistan.
Earlier, there were reports on social media that an American M4 gun that was being smuggled to Pakistan had been seized in the province.
Qari Saeed Khosti, spokesman for the ministry, said security forces in Paktia had arrested two men with 13 rifles, 1,000 bullets and 800 magazines of M4 from a Mazda vehicle.
However, he rejected social media claims that weapons were being smuggled at a large scale to Pakistan . . .
