TIRINKOT (Pajhwok):Uruzgan Governor Haji Dawat has asked UNICEF to expand its development and aid progammes to remote areas of the central province to benefit more people.
During a meeting with UNICEF Southern Zone Head Dr. Ahmad Fawad Governor Dawat said most people living in far-flung areas of the province were deprived of health and education facilities.
He demanded more assistance in health sector for the people of Uruzgan.
He assured that a great opportunity for distribution of humanitarian aid was available in the province and the provincial administration was fully committed to ensuring peace and security of aid . . .
