FIROZKOH (Pajhwok): Intelligence officials of western Ghor say security forces have seized a large number of different weapons in Firozkoh city, the provincial capital.
SayyedMasoom Kamran Agha, deputy intelligence chief ofGhor province, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the weapons included 19 Kalashnikovs, a 1-pistol and two other type weapons. He said that these weapons were stolen and seized today, Saturday in Firozkoh city.
"As a result of the efforts of Mujahideen of the intelligence agency, several weapons that were previously stolen by some people and stored in secret are recovered,” he said.
Officials asked local people to cooperate with security forces in cases of treason with government properties.
This is the first time that Ghor intelligence officials have uncovered a large amount of military weapons in the province.
