TALOQAN (Pajhwok): A man has been arrested for killing a child in the Rustaq district of northern Takhar province, an official said on Monday.
Ansarullah Ansar, director of information and culture, told Pajhwok Afghan News the child named Naveedullah was killed a few days ago.
The official quoted the killer, who has already been arrested, as saying that the child’s father had sexually abused him. As a result, the man said he decapitated the child.
The detainee, Zabihullah, confirmed he had stabbed the child to death.
“The child’s father sexually abused me. Later on, I went to his house and knocked at the door. His son came out and I took him to a place and beheaded him,” he concluded.
