Pakistani varsity offers PhD scholarships to Afghans

KABUL (Pajhwok): Pakistan’s University of Management Technology (UMT) has offered Afghanistan 100 scholarships for Afghan students and 10 PhD scholarships for teachers.

Pakistan’s Ambassador Mansoor Ahmad Khan wrote on his twitter account: “University of Management Technology (UMT), Lahore, offers Afghan Higher Education Minister Abdul Baqi Haqqani 100 scholarships for Afghan students & 10 scholarships in PhD for teachers/researchers.”

The scholarships for Afghan students and teachers were offered to acting Higher Education Minister Abdul Baqi Haqqani during his recent trip to Pakistan.
