Arif said he and other disabled were ready to play role in the reconstruction of the country. “Islamic Emirate should provide job opportunities to the masses, it will help in the development of the country and our people will earn money to deal with hanger.”

Mohammad Ghaws, another disabled who lost his leg in a roadside blast three years back, said: “Conflict brought misiries to our people in the past 40 years. There are many individuals like me who lost at least one part of their body.”

He is driving a taxi currently and is the bread earner of a seven member family. Ghaws is worried about the economic problems he is facing and asked acting government to provide working opportunities for the people.
