3 held in connection with Panjsher rocket strike

PARAKH (Pajhwok): Three people have been arrested in connection with an overnight rocket attack on the Hesa-i-Doem district centre building in central Panjsher province, an official said on Thursday.

District chief Maulvi Noorullah Mirzaee said the facility came under rocket attack on Wednesday night from an unknown location. No one was harmed in the attack, he added.

He three suspects had been arrested in connection with the attack and they were currently being investigated.

A local resident verified the district centre came under attack last night. He, however, gave no further details.
