Explosion rocks Kabul, causes no damage

KABUL (Pajhwok): An explosion took place in limits of the 11^th police district of Kabul on Monday morning, an official said.

Aqil Jan Azam, deputy spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, said: “A landmine went off close to the 11^th police district but caused no life or financial losses.”

He said security forces were investigating the blast, for which there was no immediate claim of responsibility.

Maulvi Nasir Ahmad Ahmadi, 11^th police district chief, told Pajhwok the landmine exploded in front of the district office at around 6:00am, causing no harm.
