PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): A rightwing Pakistani political party has convened an All Parties Conference (APC) on Afghanistan.
Called by the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Sami (JUI-S), the conference will discuss the problems being faced by the Taliban government and the Afghan people.
Maulana Hamidul Haq Haqqani, head of the party, said the APC would take place in Islamabad on January17 to take up difficulties of the Afghan government and people.
The participants would float present suggestions to the Pakistani government for a viable solution to Afghanistan’s predicament.
Formal invitations had been sent to leaders of political as well as religious parties for participation in the APC, Haqqani added.
