KABUL (Pajhwok): A nine-member gang of carjackers has been arrested with 10 vehicles in limits of the 15<sup>th</sup> police district of Kabul, the Ministry of Interior said on Thursday.
The stolen vehicles were handed back to their owners, the ministry tweeted. The gangsters were active in different parts of Kabul.
The detainees include those who buy stolen vehicles.
Qari Obaidullah, detective chief for the 15<sup>th</sup> police district, said in a video clip that three of the carjackers were arrested with a Corolla vehicle on Friday.
The official said he then got clues to accomplices of the three. Later, the security forces recovered 10 more vehicles from them in Khost province.
