KABUL (Pajhwok): Automated teller machine (ATM) services will be reactivated in the country, says Da Afghanistan Bank.
The decision came after lengthy discussions with commercial banks, a statement from the central bank said on Thursday.
The ATM services, disrupted after Taliban’s return power in August last year, will be available at specific locations.
The statement added: “Da Afghanistan Bank is striving to help the banking sector return to normal. Reactivating ATMs is good news.”
