Abdullah, Norway envoy discuss current Afghanistan situation

KABUL (Pajhwok): Former Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) Abdullah Abdullah on Monday met Norway Ambassador to Afghanistan Ole Andreas Lindeman and discussed the situation in Afghanistan.

On his Twitter account, Abdullah wrote: “Pleased to welcome HE Ole Andreas Lindeman @LindemanOle, Ambassador of Norway to AFG & his accompanying delegation. We discussed the current situation & reiterated our call for the urgent need of international humanitarian support for the people of Afghanistan.”

Ambassador Andreas pledged continued support to the people of Afghanistan.

Abdullah thanked Norway's efforts in peace talks and Doha talks and said the people of Afghanistan direly needed international community support at this stage.
