KABUL (Pajhwok): The Salaam Network will install 400 signal towers in different parts of the country this year, an official said on Wednesday.
Enayatullah Alkozai, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MoCIT), tweeted: “The state-run telecom firm will expand its network this year.”
He wrote work on the installation of the 400 signal towers had been launched and it would promote communication facilities in far-flung areas of the country.
Earlier, the Salaam Telecommunication Company announced the launch of 4G Internet services in the current year.
Currently, Afghan Wireless, Etisalat, MTN and Roshan telecommunication companies . . .
