JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Kabul-Jalalabad road has been reopened for traffic, an official said on Saturday.
The mountainous route had been blocked on Friday in the wake of a rockslide in the Sarobi district.
Laghman Traffic Director Maulvi Habibullah said the road had been cleared and passengers could now travel it.
“The problem was resolved on Saturday morning. There is no hurdle now and passengers could travel easily,” he added.
Public Works Director Maulvi Hamidullah Misbah also told Pajhwok Afghan News the Kabul-Jalalabad road had been reopened.
