Boy rescued, 2 kidnappers arrested in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two kidnappers have been arrested and an 11-year-old boy rescued in capital Kabul, an official said on Monday.

The boy was kidnapped four days ago, Mawlavi Mohibullah Muttaqi, crime branch head of Kabul’s third Police District said.

“Four days back we received complaints against the disappearance of a boy. We tasked detective personnel to investigate the issue and finally, two kidnappers were arrested and the boy rescued.”

The rescued boy’s name is Shoiab son of Ajmal and said that he was kidnapped by some individuals who told him that they will send him to a foreign country.
