Daesh claims responsibility for Herat bombing

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for a deadly minibus bombing in western Herat province.

At least six individuals, including four women, were killed in the bomb blast in the 12^th police district of Herat City on Saturday evening.

At least nine people, mostly women, were wounded in the attack in a Shia-dominated locality of the city.

Reuters reported that the IS, locally known as Daesh, claimed responsibility for the blast in a post on Telegram on Sunday.
