ASADABAD (Pajhwok): A roadside bomb blast killed a child and injured three others, including an elderly man, in eastern Kunar province, an official said on Wednesday.
Maulvi Najibullah Hanif, director of information and culture, told Pajhwok Afghan News the landmine blast took place in the Matain area of Manogi district on Tuesday.
He said that Mohammad Ali and his three grandchildren were injured in the blast.
However, a source in the civil hospital, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said they had been delivered the body of a child and two injured.
But the source did not provide details about the condition of the injured.
