KABUL (Pajhwok): Five suspected kidnappers have been arrested and a captive rescued in Kabul, the General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI) said on Sunday.
Intelligence personnel raided a hideout of a gang of kidnappers in Bagrami district on Friday, releasing a hostage and detaining five suspects, the agency tweeted.
The detainees had confessed to their crime, the agency said, without giving further details.
