KABUL (Pajhwok): Maulvi Shamsudding Shariati has been appointed as chief of Attorney General Office by the government leadership, an official said on Sunday.
InamullahSamangani, deputy government spokesman, tweeted that in compliance with the decree of leadership, Maulvi Shamsuddin Shariati, former deputy minister of agriculture, was appointed as AGO chief.
He added that Shariati hailed from Kasham district of Badakhshan province.
“Maulvi Shariati previously served as governor of Paktia, Maidan Wardak, chief of Dawa and Guidance, and as in charge of preventing civilian casualties and complaints.”
