PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): Postgraduate doctors from Afghanistan will receive training at a prestigious regulatory college in Pakistan.
During a recent visit of National Security Advisor Dr. Moeed Yusuf to Kabul, the Afghan government had urged Pakistan to train Afghan doctors.
Pakistan’s College of Physicians and Surgeons (CPS would provide training to the Afghan doctors in Pakistan, said Dr. Muhammad Shoaib Shafi, senior vice-president of the college.
Speaking to The News, he promised CPSP would provide all possible support to Afghan doctors in their training and education.
During the Yusuf-led team’s visit to Jinnah Hospital in Kabul, the Afghan health minister asked Pakistan for cooperation in post-graduate medical education.
