KABUL (Pajhwok): The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) says 318 media outlets stopped working in Afghanistan following the political change.
Citing a new survey, the federation said in a statement that 51 television channels, 132 radio stations and 49 online media outlets had stopped operating in Afghanistan since the new government came to power .
According to the statement, only 20 out of 114 Afghan newspapers are currently published.
The survey was conducted by the National Association of Afghan Journalists in 33 provinces.
