PESHAWAR (Pajhwok): The Saudi interior minister and the Pakistan army chief have exchanged views on the current situation in Afghan.
Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud Bin Naif called on Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi on Monday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said regional security and the current situation in Afghanistan came up for discussion at the meeting.
The Saudi dignitary commended Pakistan’s role in Afghanistan and special efforts for regional stability. He pledged to play his part in further improvement in diplomatic cooperation with Pakistan at all levels.
Gen. Bajwa said Pakistan valued its historical and brotherly relations with the Kingdom and acknowledged its unique place in the Islamic world.
