KABUL (Pajhwok): The US has offered a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to the identification or location of Daesh Khorasan leader Sanaullah Ghafari, a media report said on Tuesday.
In addition, the State Department also announced reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for a deadly August 2021 attack at the Kabul airport.
In June 2020, Ghafari was appointed by the extremist group to lead Daesh, also known as ISIS-K.
Ghafari was responsible for approving all ISIS-K operations throughout Afghanistan and arranging funding to conduct attacks, the State Department claimed.
