KABUL (Pajhwok): The Turkish foreign minister on Thursday announced the resumption of issuing Turkish visas in Kabul.
Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi held a telephonic conversation with his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kabul said Çavuşoğlu confirmed the resumption of visa issuance and promised to restart consulate activities in Mazar-i-Sharif in March.
Muttaqi thanked Turkey for 750 tonnes of emergency assistance that reached Afghanistan three days ago via the Tor Ghondai port.
The Turkish diplomat also vowed to deliver another 500-700 tonnes . . .
