Islamic Emirate adopts humanitarian declaration: Geneva Call

KABUL (Pajhwok): Geneva Call, a civilian protection organization in armed conflict, has said acting Afghan government have agreed over adopting a humanitarian declaration after high level discussion.

On its twitter handle, Geneva Call said: “Geneva Call is pleased to announce that the Islamic Emirate of #Afghanistan has adopted a #humanitarian declaration after high-level discussions in Geneva with our team.”

“The declaration covers crucial issues including the #protection and provision of #healthcare and #education for all Afghans; the respect of #humanitarianaid and the safeguard of the #environment and cultural heritage.”
