2 carjackers, as many kidnappers detained in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): Two alleged carjackers and as many kidnappers have been detained and a child rescued, a police official said on Wednesday.

Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said security forces had arrested two abductors in Pul-i-Charkhi area.

He said the abductors had kidnapped a child named Zikrullah from Torkham area and planned to take him to Iran.

The child had been rescued from his captors, the police spokesman added.

Separately, two men were arrested in connection with stealing two vehicles in the Paghman district of Kabul on Tuesday, Zadran informed.
