PUL-I-KUMRI (Pajhwok): One individual has been killed and 14 others have been wounded as a result of two separate traffic accidents in northern Salang.
The accidents took place on Friday night when a passenger bus collided with a snow-clearing vehicle and a car ploughed into a trailer.
Qazi Obaidullah Obaid, maintenance commander for the highway, told Pajhwok Afghan News that 12 people were injured, three of them critically in one accident. They were evacuated to hospital.
But Maulvi Mustafa Hashimi, director of information, said only two individuals had been injured -- based on information from the traffic manager . . .
