9 killed in Panjsher operation: Khurasani

PARAKH (Pajhwok): One Taliban security official and eight ‘enemies’ have been killed during an operation in central Panjsher province, an official said on Thursday.

Deputy police chief for central Panjsher province said the operation was carried out in Doabi area of Shetal district.

Abdul Hamid Khurasani told Pajhwok Afghan News: “In 24 hours operation, eight fatalities were inflected on the enemy and we have one martyr.”

Sibghatullah Ahmadi, who introduced himself as spokesman for “Resistance Front,” claimed killing nine security forces including a unit commander.
