KABUL (Pajhwok): Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB) has welcomed the US Treasury Department’s decision to lift sanctions on transactions with the Afghan government.
From today onwards, a statement from DAB said, private banks of the country could resume their activities with international financial institutions.
The central bank welcomed the issuance of Licence No. 20, allowing transactions with Afghan governing institutions, including DAB.
