KABUL (Pajhwok): Seema, a retired government cook, bakes Bolani --- a well-known local food --- and sells it in the bazaar to earn a livelihood for her family.
She is doing this because she has not received her pension and other retirement privileges.
Seema worked as a cook in the Academic Sciences and retired from her job last year.
Soon after her retirement, she started work at peoples’ homes that included cleaning, washing, and others but after the political change, last year and economic downfall forced families not to hire maids.
She is the mother of three daughters and two sons . . .
