MEHTARLAM (Pajhwok): Security personnel have recovered some military equipment during a search operation in eastern Laghman province, an official said on Monday.
201 Khalid Military Corps Spokesperson Mawlavi Waheedullah Mohammadi told Pajhwok Afghan News the operation was conducted in the Hussainkhelo locality in Mehtarlam, the provincial capital on Sunday night.
He said: “Two Humvee vehicles, two ranger vehicles and an anti-aircraft gun was recovered during the operation.”
According to Mohammadi this equipment were robbed by some individuals during the fall of the previous government which was returned to their first infantry brigade back.
He said search operation will continue to ensure security and peace nationwide.
