West out to thrust its political system on Kabul: Shaheen

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s new government has accused the United States of trying to impose its political demands on it.

The West is out to have people of its choice included in the Taliban government, according to the envoy-designate to the United Nations.

In an interview aired on Monday, Suhail Shaheen blamed the West for seeking to impose its own political system on Afghanistan.

Ariana News quoted him as saying: “Second, they have a list in their pockets and want to include their loyalists in the new Afghan government.”
