Rehabilitation work on Kajaki-Kandahar City power supply cable kicks off

KANDAHAR CITY (Pajhwok): The rehabilitation work on electricity supply cable from Kajaki Dame in southern Helmand province to Kandahar city has been launched, according to a statement from Da Afghanistan Breshan Shirkat (DABS) on Friday.

The supply cable damaged badly during the past years and during rehabilitation process its capacity would be improved from 120MM to 180MM, the statement said.

The project had been approved by the Prime Minister Office and its work would be completed in 45 days.
